Ronald Myers

Ronald Walter Myers, age 73, passed away on April 21, 2024.  Anyone who spent any time with Ron quickly learned what a kind, loving and generous soul he was.  In his later years, he accepted the challenge of health problems with grace and dignity.  He adored his wife of almost 48 years, his children, siblings, grandchildren and large extended family.  He was a graduate of Big Walnut High School, Class of 1969 and The Ohio State University.  Retired from the telephone company.  Member of St. John Neumann Church.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Edith and Walter Myers; beloved son, Nathan Myers and brother-in-law Garrett Cotter.  He is survived by his wife, Elaine M. (Cotter) Myers; children, Mark Myers and Sarah (Nick) Jones; grandchildren, Braxton, William and Rowan Myers; Lillian, Anna, Matthew, Bryce and Daniel Jones; sisters, Janet (Burrell) Denune and Barbara (Gary) Geng; brothers and sisters-in-law, Maureen (Donald) Kocarek, Linda Cotter and John (Evelyn) Cotter;  numerous beloved nieces and nephews.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Neumann Church.  Burial at Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Holy Family Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry.
